Mary’s Background
Mary is a master hairstylist and has been serving Denver/Arvada/Wheat Ridge for over 25 years.
Even as a child Mary had a passion for coloring and styling hair. Her first client was her own Barbie’s and then gradually moved onto her own hair at the age of 12. She used her hair coloring skills to become the only blonde Asian girl in her 8th grade class (which was Drake Middle School, in Arvada!).
It was natural to go to Cosmetology school her senior year in high school (she attended Arvada West, go Wildcats!). She graduated from Warren Technical school in 1988 with a license in Cosmetology. Mary took third the place VICA award in state in styling and updos while acquiring her license.
Her philosophy on hair styling is to give her clients something fun and modern that reflects their personality and lifestyle. Something that is easy to maintain yet highlights their individuality.
Mary specializes in coloring and color correction. She believes your hair is similar to a canvas and she uses her experience and technique as an artist painting a masterpiece.
Cutting and texture to shape the hair is a passion of hers. Her cuts last longer then the average haircut as she knows where to texturize and take thickness out and leave it where it needs to be.

Mary is a lifelong Arvada, Colorado resident and has no plans on leaving her beautiful hometown. She loves being able to contribute to the community with her beautiful haircuts for the last 20 years. She is a mother of four (see her youngest in the picture to the left) as well as three boys. She is also an avid player of tennis, if you are a fan or a player, be sure to ask her about the sport!
